What is NAD+ IV Therapy?

NAD+ is a coenzyme found in every cell, involved in energy metabolism and cellular repair. NAD+ intravenous therapy delivers it directly into the bloodstream and is positioned within the longevity and wellness space. We offer it selectively, and only after a proper consultation, because it is an area where the marketing has run well ahead of the settled evidence.

We will give you an honest account of what NAD+ therapy can and cannot do, rather than the longevity claims you may have read elsewhere. Where it is appropriate, we deliver it carefully; where it is not, we will tell you.

How it works

NAD+ is infused slowly, typically over two to four hours, because a faster rate is uncomfortable. The slow delivery is part of the protocol, not an inconvenience. A doctor oversees the infusion and adjusts the rate to your tolerance throughout.

Who it's for

Adults exploring longevity-oriented support who want it delivered in a properly supervised clinical setting rather than a pop-up. It is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and it is not a substitute for specialist longevity medicine. We assess every client individually before agreeing to treat.

The Lumara protocol

NAD+ therapy at Lumara is doctor-led and gated behind consultation. We will not administer it on demand without assessment, and we will decline where we do not think it is the right choice. The infusion is delivered slowly and monitored throughout.

Aftercare

Hydrate and eat normally. There is no downtime. The slow infusion can feel intense during delivery; this settles once the infusion is complete.

Frequently asked

NAD+ IV Therapy, in plain English.

Does NAD+ therapy reverse ageing?

No. NAD+ is involved in cellular energy and repair, and it is an active area of research, but the anti-ageing claims attached to it in marketing run well ahead of the evidence. We position it honestly as supportive, not transformative.

Why does it take so long?

NAD+ has to be infused slowly to be tolerable; a fast rate is uncomfortable. The two to four hour window is part of doing it properly, and a doctor adjusts the rate to your comfort throughout.

Is this a replacement for longevity medicine?

No. We are not a longevity clinic. If longevity is your focus, we'd encourage you to work with a specialist; we are happy to support a plan you already have.
