Regenerative aesthetics · Marylebone
Beauty,
on a cellular level.
Stem-cell and exosome protocols, in the hands of doctors who'd rather do less, better.
Treatments
Four pillars, one approach.
Regenerative protocols, careful injectables, scalp restoration and wellness, all under one Marylebone roof and looked after by a single clinical team.

Our position
Where we draw the line.
We opened in 2019 as a Marylebone clinic built around stem-cell and exosome science. The standards we hold ourselves to don't flex, and the rules below are the ones we won't move on.
- i.
A doctor in every chair.
Every consultation, plan and protocol is signed off by a clinician. No nurse-only injectables. No "aesthetic technicians".
- ii.
No two plans alike.
Each face is mapped, each protocol is built. We don't run a menu of the month, and the same client rarely leaves with the same plan twice.
- iii.
Restraint before volume.
We rebuild the dermal matrix before resurfacing it. Filler is sometimes useful, rarely the first answer. We turn down treatments more often than we add them, and we'll always explain why.
- iv.
We don't inject exosomes.
We apply them topically, where the evidence sits. No human-derived products, no "live stem cell" language. The category overstates; we choose not to.
The Science
Read before you book.
We explain the protocols we run, the products behind them and the rules we work under. Most clinics either skip that conversation or oversell it.
- 01
What are exosomes?
Nano-scale extracellular vesicles. They carry the signalling proteins, mRNA and lipids that cells use to communicate, and they sit at the heart of every regenerative protocol we run.

Stem cells, honestly.
What is possible, what is exaggerated, and what we will or will not do. An honest account of a subject most clinics oversell.

Sources & regulation.
The exact products we use, the regulators we answer to, and how to verify any practitioner's credentials yourself.
How we're regulated
Our founder
Dr Helena Crane.
Helena founded Lumara in 2019 with one clear conviction: that the future of beauty would be cellular. After years working in the conventional injectables space, she opened the clinic to bring stem-cell and exosome protocols to a Marylebone audience that had been sold filler for everything.
Lumara's clinical philosophy still reflects her own: restraint before volume, and the standards she would expect for herself.

Journal
Editorial.
Long-form writing on regulation, treatments and the positions we take. The kind of thing we'd want to read before booking a clinic ourselves.
