What is Profhilo?
Profhilo is a hyaluronic acid skin booster — distinct from dermal filler. It is not used to add volume or change shape. It is placed in small deposits across the face (or neck, or décolleté, or hands) where it spreads out, hydrates the skin from within, and stimulates collagen and elastin production over the following weeks.
The result is skin that feels and looks denser, brighter and more hydrated. It is one of the most reliable single treatments we offer for skin quality, and works particularly well alongside our regenerative protocols.
How it works
A standardised volume of high-concentration hyaluronic acid is placed in five injection points per side of the face (the "BAP" technique — Bio Aesthetic Points). The product spreads naturally over the following 24 hours, distributing across the treated area and starting the regenerative response.
Who it's for
Adults with concerns about skin laxity, hydration, or loss of "bounce" in the face, neck or décolleté. Particularly good for clients in their forties and fifties who want visible quality improvement without volume change.
The Lumara protocol
The standard Profhilo course is two sessions four weeks apart, then maintenance every six months. We often combine with our exosome facial — Profhilo for hydration and structural support, exosome therapy for cellular signalling — for a more complete regenerative outcome.
Aftercare
Small bumps at the injection points for 6–12 hours, settling overnight. Avoid pressing the area for 24 hours, makeup for 12 hours, and exercise for 24 hours.
Frequently asked
Profhilo, in plain English.
Is this filler?
No. Filler is shaped, placed in tissue planes, and intended to change volume or contour. Profhilo is a skin booster — placed differently, intended to improve the quality of the skin tissue itself rather than change its shape.
Can I have it on my neck?
Yes. Profhilo on the neck and décolleté is one of the most rewarding treatments we offer for clients in their forties and fifties.
